Story: Contents creation for SEO
I have been blogging for the past 5 years, starting in 2018. My main purpose for blogging is to continue learning, open curiosity, and have a record of my design library. Some of my posts contain my experiences and solutions, so I have added a search function on the website to make it easier to find them.
To avoid typos, I use Google Translate. However, I admit that my writing still has errors. Recently, I started using ChatGPT and found that it is much better than my writing. I have come to accept that I may not be a skilled writer.
During a conversation with a client over Slack, he recommended Jasper.ai. Even though I am already satisfied with ChatGPT, I trust my client’s recommendation and decided to test it out.

I sign up for Jasper.ai. Onboard process, Jasper.ai asks me for an email a couple of times. I don’t know why?
*After signup(even though I dropped out of the subscription process), I received a couple of newsletters. It is common marketing. I did unsubscribe.

After your trial ends, you will be charged $468.00 per year starting May 21, 2023. You can always cancel before then.
Personally, I dislike providing credit card information upfront, especially when it comes to free trials. It often triggers a user drop-off. I have encountered situations where canceling the trial was not as easy as expected, requiring me to reach out to support for assistance.
Therefore, I kindly request not to use a trial period of 6 days, at most 5 days, 4 days is safe. I am trying to use Jasper.ai for an AI experience. It may be possible to use Jasper.ai for the blog during the trial term. Paying $468 for an AI writing tool is not feasible for me. Currently, I am satisfied with using ChatGPT or Bard by Google(still not available in Canada 😔), as they fulfill my writing needs adequately.

Brand voice is a valuable characteristic. I can easily identify a brand’s voice when it’s in my native language. However, recognizing it becomes challenging when it’s in a second language. Currently, I utilize Midjourney for my artistic endeavors, although I don’t engage in podcasting or creating YouTube content myself. Jasper.ai, on the other hand, seems to have more features than I require at the moment.
Jasper AI may not be for personal use. I feel more for organizations, or content creators.
Conclusion: Controversial of credit card requirements in advance
If I were to utilize Jasper.ai for my writing project, there might be an opportunity for me to become a subscriber. Nevertheless, my work doesn’t necessitate extensive professional writing. Currently, when I rewrite my text, I rely on ChatGPT, which effectively rephrases it in a manner that I find challenging to accomplish. While the essence remains intact, the choice of words becomes notably distinct.
Jasper.ai primarily caters to writing professionals. If subscribing to it enables me to generate an income that exceeds tenfold of the subscription cost, then it becomes a worthwhile investment.
I could test Jasper AI even if they require a credit card. However, I am testing AI tools as user testing and thinking about user behavior. What action user takes? I did a Google search, jasper ai alternative. I don’t think this is unusual.
I am curious how Grammarly competes with these ai tools. Contents creation sounds more valuable than proofing.
